Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data PunDraft(“we”, “us”) collects and how we use it, both on www.pundraft.com and through the PunDraft Twitch extension. By using the service you agree to this policy.

What we collect

Anonymous usage. When you generate or rate names without an account — including from the Twitch extension — we derive a short, rotating hash from your IP address and browser user-agent. We use it only to enforce daily generation limits, prevent duplicate votes, and curb abuse. The hash rotates regularly and is not used to identify you personally. We do not collect your Twitch identity from the extension.

Content you create. The keywords/themes you enter, the names generated, and the ratings you cast are stored so we can power the generator, leaderboards, and improve future results.

Account data (optional). If you create an account to save or claim names, our authentication provider (Clerk) stores your sign-in details such as email address and username. You only have an account if you choose to sign up.

Technical logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard request logs (IP, timestamp, user-agent) for security and reliability.

How we use it

To operate and secure the service: generating names, applying rate limits, deduplicating votes, maintaining leaderboards, running accounts and claims, and diagnosing problems. We do not sell your personal data.

Service providers

We rely on third parties to run the service, and your data may pass through them solely for that purpose: hosting (Vercel), database (Neon), caching (Upstash), authentication (Clerk), and the AI providers that generate names (Anthropic, Google, OpenAI, Groq, Cerebras, and OpenRouter) — the text you submit for generation is sent to one or more of these providers to produce results. When used as a Twitch extension, the Twitch platform also processes your interaction under its own privacy policy.

Cookies

The anonymous generator and the Twitch extension work without setting tracking cookies. If you sign in, our authentication provider sets cookies necessary to keep you logged in.

Data retention

Generated names, ratings, and account data are retained while the service operates and your account exists. The anonymous rate-limit hash is short-lived by design. You may request deletion of your account data at any time (see Contact).

Children

The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Your choices

You can use the generator anonymously, delete your account, or contact us to access or remove your data. To rate or claim names you may choose to sign in, but generating names never requires an account.

Changes

We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
